    Your Privacy Matters to Us

    Last updated: September 2026

    Information We Collect

When you fill out a form on this website (such as a contact, prayer request, event registration, or plan-your-visit form), we collect the information you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, and the content of your message. We also collect standard technical information that most websites collect, like pages visited and approximate location, to keep the site running well and understand how people find us.

    How We Use Your Information

We use the information you give us to respond to your request, pray for you if you asked for prayer, follow up about the event or visit you planned, and keep you informed about church life if you asked us to. We may send occasional church updates by email or text; every message includes a way to opt out, and we honor opt-out requests promptly.

    Prayer Requests and Sensitive Information

Prayer requests often include deeply personal details. We treat them with care. Unless you tell us otherwise, your request is shared only with the pastoral team. You can choose on the prayer form whether the wider prayer team may see it.

    Sharing Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only with the volunteers and staff who need it to serve you (for example, the prayer team or the leader of a ministry you joined), and with service providers who help us run the website and our communications, under agreements that protect your data.

    Cookies and Analytics

This website uses cookies and similar tools to remember your preferences, measure how people use the site, and understand how visitors find King's House Church. You can decline tracking cookies through the banner shown on your first visit, and your visit works either way. We use the information only in aggregate, to improve the site.

    Data Retention and Security

We keep your information only as long as we need it for the purpose you shared it, and we protect it with reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to a small church office.

    Your Choices

You can ask us at any time to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You can also unsubscribe from any church communication using the link in each message or by contacting us. To exercise any of these choices, email info.kingshousechurch@gmail.com or call (203) 640-6833.

    Children's Privacy

King's House Kids serves children, and we take their privacy seriously. We do not knowingly collect information from children online except through forms a parent or guardian completes on their behalf, such as registration and check-in. If you believe a child has provided information without a guardian's consent, contact us and we will remove it.

    Changes to This Policy

If we change this policy, we will update this page with a new revision date. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.

Tools We Use on This Site

Here are the tools this website and our church communications use, what each one collects, and how to turn each off:

Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram) — when you accept cookies in the banner, this collects page visits and whether you planned a visit, so our ads can reach people interested in the church. It does not run if you declined cookies. To opt out, decline cookies in the cookie banner (clear your browser data to see the banner again) or use your Facebook or Instagram "Ad Preferences" settings.

TikTok Pixel — same as the Meta pixel: page visits and visit-planning activity for our TikTok ads, only after you accept cookies. To opt out, decline cookies in the banner or use the "Personalized ads" setting in your TikTok app.

Google Analytics (GA4) — anonymous site usage: which pages are viewed, approximate region, and how visitors find the site. To opt out, decline cookies in the cookie banner or install Google's "Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on."

Votel — our church management system. It securely stores the information you give us in forms (name, email, phone, visit details, prayer requests), sends our text messages and emails, and keeps our follow-up records. To stop text messages, reply STOP to any text from us. To stop emails, use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any church email or email us at info.kingshousechurch@gmail.com. The cookie banner on this site controls the tracking pixels; it does not affect your form answers or messages you asked us to send.

    SMS Text Message Privacy

If you voluntarily provide SMS consent through a King's House Church form, your phone number and SMS consent status may be used to provide the text-message communications for which you consented.

We share your phone number and SMS consent only with the service providers that deliver our text messages for us, such as our messaging platform and phone carriers, and only so they can send the messages you agreed to receive. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

    SMS Consent and Opt-Out

Where SMS consent is offered, the SMS consent checkbox is separate from other consents, optional, and unchecked by default. SMS consent is not required to use this website or to request services. Message frequency may vary. Standard message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP. For assistance, reply HELP or contact us at info.kingshousechurch@gmail.com or (203) 640-6833. SMS consent records will not be sold or shared with unrelated third parties for their own marketing purposes, and consent information is maintained as reasonably necessary to document consent, operate the messaging program, comply with applicable requirements, and process opt-out requests.
